Alegria Spanish Horse Stud has been operating since 1997 when we purchased our property at Lancefield, in the beautiful Macedon Ranges.

In May 2010 the stud moved 20kms out of Bendigo.

Our stud breeds pure Spanish horses with registrations with the Australian body, the Andalusian Horse Association of Australasia Inc., as well as holding breeding passports with the Stud Book in Spain. This means that every Spanish horse produced here is PRE eligible.

We have previously bred a Thoroughbred mare, a Sir Tristram grand-daugher, to both Eco and Andaluka Magicoso. One of those foals is pictured below. This is Alegria Gonzalez born in 2007 by Andaluka Magicoso. He was sold to Chris Chester who broke him in, and the photo at the right is in June 2012 at his first Official EA competiton as a rising 5yo where he scored 65%! Congratulations to Chris and "Speedy".

Please contact us about service to one of our stallions to breed your own part-bred Andalusian!
